Hi there and Welcome to Kitty Health – Cats 101!
My name is Kirsty and I am a Registered Breeder of the Ragdoll Cat. I have experienced many things in my time as a cat breeder, some of which I would like to share here on this website, with the hope that it may be helpful to others. The nature of my site is Cats 101, and will eventually cover everything from buying a kitten, to helpful information if you have a sick cat. Kitty Health website is still relatively new, so please bear with me :-).
As a cat breeder I have been constantly dismayed at the amount of disinformation that appears on the internet. This website is my way of trying to help people with their cats and kittens in an open and honest way. Information is only ever published here on Kitty Health if I personally know it is factual and worthwhile.
Some of my site will be based on a Q & A, from emails I have received in the past. Since I have already answered a lot of cat problems questions people have, I will publish some of the emails and my answers here – for others to benefit from. I will also be publishing quality cat articles and information from other sources, that I think will be of value to cat owners. If you would like to contribute a quality article, please let me know
However, BEFORE you go any further, you need to know that I am an Holistic cat breeder, therefore you will not find positive recommendations on commercial cat foods, or cat vaccination schedules etc here on Kitty Health. What you will find is a host of information for people who want to learn how to keep a cat or a kitten in a much more natural way.
You also need to know that I am not a professional anything at all. I am not a veterinarian, nor a homeopath nor any other type health care professional. I am simply a cat breeder who has done a massive amount of research over a great number of years. Therefore, any information you read here on my website needs to be judged by you and researched thoroughly prior to undertaking any changes yourself.
Yes, you will see a little advertising here and there (have to keep the wolves from the door somehow), however it is not “in your face obnoxious” (I hope!). Nor is it so copious that you cannot find the article matter for the adverts.
Please ask any questions you may have in the “leave comment” field at the bottom of any relevant page. I will do my best to reply to these messages in a reasonable amount of time. However, please remember any of my replies are NOT to be taken as professional advice in any way. If you have a serious problem with a kitten or cat, you must seek professional help.
Thanks so much for visiting, and please – if you like my Kitty Health website and feel it is of value, would you kindly take the time to bookmark and share this website, so it may be of benefit to other cat owners.
You may also like to visit my website about my Ragdoll Cats and Kittens.
In closing, I sincerely hope you find value and benefit here on Kitty Health and I always welcome your comments and any suggestions you may have for additions or improvements to my website.
Warm regards and many purrs
